DENVER—The Denver coroner’s office has released the name of a 49-year-old woman who was stabbed to death in her home.

The medical examiner says Rebecca Knox was stabbed in the chest, and her death is considered a homicide.

Police found Knox after they were called to an apartment in southeast Denver at about 6:15 p.m. Wednesday. The woman was pronounced dead at a hospital.

The Denver Post reports ( ) a 55-year-old man was arrested at the scene, but police have not released any information about his relationship, if any, with Knox.
