LARAMIE — Like most of his teammates, University of Wyoming senior safety Luke Ruff is frustrated about the Cowboys’ 1-7 record.
But he is even more frustrated that he hasn’t been able to do much about it for nearly a month.
Ruff, one of four team captains, was ruled out of Saturday’s Border War rivalry game against Colorado State by Cowboys coach Dave Christensen on Monday. The cause: a stinger suffered at Nevada on Oct. 6.
Ruff was in uniform this week, but he only watched practice.
That isn’t something Ruff is accustomed to.
