Nonprofits are poised to deal with a deluge of donations Tuesday on the third annual Colorado Gives Day, hoping to raise even more than the $12.8 million raised last year in the 24-hour period.
Everyone from Community Sailing of Colorado to the Chicano Humanities and Arts Council have sent out e-mails to remind people that their coffers could use a boost.
Donations can be made online at from 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Tuesday.
From any page on the site, donors can search for a charity by name, keyword, cause, city or zip code. Every dollar raised gets a boost from the $300,000 incentive fund.
