BOULDER, Colo.—Student leaders at the University of Colorado Boulder have voted down a resolution that would have supported administrators’ plan for a non-smoking campus.

Despite initial support for the resolution, the Daily Camera reports () it was voted down by the student government Thursday night.

University leaders wanted students’ input on the idea but could still decide to make the campus smoke- and tobacco-free as early as next year.
