Who: Todd Mosher of Littleton
The cause: The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
The feat: Mosher is participating as a team member in the 2013 Lavaman Triathlon in Waikoloa, Hawaii. He plans to do the 40 km bike segment which coincides with part of the Ironman World Champion Bike Course.
The story: “This is my fifth triathlon where I have raised funds for LLS,” Mosher says. “But what is different from when I have done this before is I talked 14 of my co-workers to join me as a Team in Training Corporate Team. So rather than just raising $5,000 myself we are working to raise nearly $70,000 as a team.” He and the other members of their team, called TNT, will be raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma.
