Routt County Search and Rescue volunteers were on their way up Buffalo Pass on Sunday night to look for a group of five snowmobilers reportedly stuck in a ravine.

Incident commander Kristia Check-Hill said the snowmobilers called a relative in Fort Collins on Sunday afternoon to report they were cold, wet and stranded somewhere near the power lines that run down the mountain pass in the vicinity of Summit Lake.

At 8 p.m., Check-Hill said rescuers had not been able to contact the stranded snowmobilers or trace a cellphone signal to pinpoint their location.
