has rescheduled its Feb. 8 concert at the to help prep material for its debut album.
The band wants to bring something different to the Ogden show, and since itap currently touring, the postponement will give them time to work out some more new songs, a representative told Reverb. The band’s debut full-length on A&M Octone will come out sometime in late-spring, most likely in May – with some old songs on the record, including the current single “Change.”
“We are sorry to disappoint but are super excited to play our new material from the upcoming LP for you SOON!! We miss you and can’t wait to see you again. From the van in the middle of Indiana, Joe, Mike, Tyler, Tim and Bethany,” said the band in a news release.
The Denver folk-pop band was signed to A&M Octone Records in fall 2012 after the sing-along “Change” single took off on the radio. This month, the band embarked on a 16-date U.S. tour and would have had its homecoming show in Colorado on Feb. 9.
This homecoming will now come a month later, seeing as the show has been moved to March 8 at the Ogden. Tickets for the Feb. 8 show are still valid for the March 8 date.
