COLORADO SPRINGS — Police are searching for a 25-year-old man in connection with the shooting death of another man that occured in a motel on the city’s northwest side Saturday morning.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Billie Thomas Allen on a manslaughter charge in the death of 29-year-old Justin Dore, who died from a single gunshot wound.
Police believe the shooting happened at the Days Inn on Rusina Road near I-25, north of Garden of the Gods Road, at about 9:30 a.m.
Police described Allen as 6’4″ tall, 200 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen driving a later model white Ford Crew Cab pickup. Anyone with information should contact police at (719) 444-700. Allen is considered armed and dangerous.
