Lindsey Vonn is keeping a low profile after her surgery Sunday in Vail to repair .

“She is not doing any interviews at this time,” said publicist Lewis Kay.

Vonn did, however, offer an :

“Success! Surgery went very well (Sunday) and I’m recovering at home in Vail with my family. I want to sincerely thank everyone for their well wishes these last few days. It’s going to be a long and hard road back but I will be back!! Xoxo Lv.”

Vonn was injured Feb. 4 in the opening race of the world championships in Schladming, Austria.

Vonn sustained a torn anterior cruciate ligament, a torn medial collateral ligament and a lateral tibial plateau fracture in her right knee. Her right knee buckled when she landed a high-speed jump in a super-G, a race in which she was a gold-medal favorite.
