Denver’s has had a number of surprises in the last week or so, starting with the announcement that the band would be opening for Pink on a European arena tour. Now, Churchill will suddenly make its network TV debut on “Jimmy Kimmel” on Tuesday, acting as a replacement for , who refused to play because “Duck Dynasty” cast members were appearing in the same episode.

If ever a band had the option to be thankful for Morrissey’s boisterous, animal-loving personality, it’s Churchill.

There’s more in common with the two acts, Denver show because of his health, and Churchill  for a late spring release of its debut album. This debut with A&M Octane, which will most likely come out in May, will include “Change.”

Morrissey on the other hand should be returning Denver on April 26 at the Temple Buell Theatre. Churchill’s rescheduled tour date should be far more reliable.
