Gone are posse-celebrating, success-loving lyrics from his lead single, “Started From the Bottom.” Something has got the Toronto MC all riled up, on the angry new Drake song, “5AM in Toronto,” which was released early Thursday morning. Continuing with the trend of releasing a track with the time and city in which it was written (see “9AM in Dallas”), Drake lets loose on pretty much everyone from Pusha-T to the Weeknd on this one.
The song is slated to appear on “Nothing Was the Same,” which is the third studio release from the Young Money signee. “5AM in Toronto” is chock full of one-liners and indignant raps. Itap quite brilliant and for what itap worth, we like this angry Drake. Listen to the new Drake song below:
