Denver Transit Partners, the Regional Transportation District contractor for the East Rail Line, will install girders on the commuter rail bridge over Peña Boulevard, just east of E-470, on Saturday, beginning at 9 p.m.
The girder work is scheduled to be completed before 4 a.m. Sunday.
The girders will be installed over westbound/outbound Peña Boulevard. Traffic in both directions will be reduced to one lane and detoured around the construction area.
From 7 p.m., Monday, until 5 a.m., Tuesday, girders will also be installed within the Peña Boulevard median, according to RTD.
