LARAMIE, Wyo.—Wyoming has been invited to Women’s National Invitation Tournament and is set to host Northern Colorado on Thursday in the first round.
This is the sixth time the Cowgirls have appeared in the postseason under head coach Joe Legerski. The Cowgirls won the 2007 WNIT title and earned a bid to the NCAA tournament in 2008.
