Two fishermen were rescued from the frigid water of Cherry Creek Reservoir after their canoe capsized Tuesday morning.
The incident happened at about 9:30 a.m., said Jennifer Churchill, a Cherry Creek State Park spokeswoman.
The fishermen were both wearing life vests, Churchill said.
The pair, who were conscious and alert after the rescue, were taken by ambulance to a local hospital. Further detail on their condition was not available.
The accident is under investigation.
