While at first it was easy to dismiss the (formerly ) persona, itap pretty clear at this point that the Lion is here to stay. Lion has announced a new album called, “Reincarnated” and shared the newest single called “No Guns Allowed,” which features Drake and Cori B.
The track is a strange ode to free flowing partying and good vibrations. Snoop gets a little patois driven accent for his verse, helped mostly by Cori B’s harmonizing voice. The beat is sparse for the majority of the song but picks up a bit when Drake’s fast spat lyrics come in. Listen to the new Snoop Lion song below.
With all the debate about gun control in the media, the content is surely on point — even if the only thing great about the track is Drake’s verse. Itap not easy to love at first, but itap progressive and Snoop Lion seems serious about it so, all aboard.
