LONGMONT, Colo.—A 17-year-old boy accused of writing a note threatening a mass shooting and arson at Longmont High School last month has pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of interference with a school.

The boy appeared in Boulder County Juvenile Court on Monday with his foster mother and entered the guilty plea.

According to the Longmont Times-Call ( ), the youth was sentenced to a year on probation.

Under terms of his probation, the boy was ordered to continue regular school attendance at a school for emotionally disabled students.
