WALSENBURG, Colo.—Authorities have arrested a driver who led police on a 2-hour chase in southern Colorado.

The Colorado State Patrol says the man drove through fences and cut across fields before finally being caught.

According to the Denver Post ( ), a trooper tried to stop a car on Interstate-25 near Walsenburg Friday morning and the driver took off, leading authorities through Las Animas and Otero counties.

A Colorado State Patrol airplane spotted the car parked under a tree in an open field near U.S. Highway 350, with the driver on foot nearby, and authorities moved in for the arrest.
