DENVER—Denver police are looking for a man who used a box cutter to attack a female bus rider.
Police say the woman was cut on a Regional Transportation District bus Thursday afternoon but is expected to survive. The suspect was last seen heading down an alley. Police said Friday that the man also was armed with a stun gun.
On Tuesday, 39-year-old Estevan Ruiz was fatally stabbed in the neck while riding an RTD bus. Twenty-year-old Isaiah Moreno is being held without bond on suspicion of first-degree murder in that case. The Denver Post reports ( ) that according to court documents, Moreno allegedly told investigators he was high on methamphetamine and heroin at the time of the stabbing.
