DENVER—The roof of a Discount Tire store in Fort Collins has caved in after a storm that stretched on for days dropped more than 2 feet of snow this week.

Meanwhile, Colorado interstate highways are back open to New Mexico and Kansas after being shut down because snow and ice. The Colorado Department of Transportation had closed eastbound Interstate 70 from Limon to Kansas and northbound Interstate 25 between Walsenburg to the New Mexico state line because of dangerous conditions.

In western Colorado, the National Weather Service is warning fruit growers in areas including Montrose, Fruita, Palisade and Delta of subfreezing temperatures through Friday morning.
