New York Times bestselling author, activist and theologian Jim Wallis will be in Denver to speak and sign his new book, “On God’s Side: What Religion Forgets and Politics Hasn’t Learned,” at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Tattered Cover LoDo, 1628 16th St.
Wallis, president and CEO of Sojourners and internationally known progressive preacher, will repeat the event at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday the Boulder Bookstore, 1107 Pearl St. in Boulder.
The book’s title is drawn from an Abraham Lincoln quote: “My concern is not whether God is on our side; my greatest concern is to be on God’s side.”
