Denver fire crews responded to a report of a fire on the 16th Street Mall at Glenarm Place on Friday.
Mark Watson, a spokesman for the Denver Fire Department said firefighters didn’t find a fire.
“It was a small electrical short that set off the alarms,” Watson said.
The fire scare was in one of the high-rise residential buildings near the intersection.
Fire crews cleared the scene shortly before noon.
