High Plains Comedy Festival adds Reggie Watts as headliner, reveals more lineup and ticketing info

, taking place Aug. 23-24 at rock clubs and , as well as Englewood’s , has announced its headliner, added a handful of locals to its lineup and set an on-sale date for tickets.

Critically acclaimed comedian and musician and co-host Reggie Watts will headline, along with new additions Matt Braunger, Ron Funches, Howard Kremer, Cameron Esposito and Matt Knudsen.

They join previously-announced national stand-ups familiar to fans of Comedy Central, MTV and late-night talk shows, such as , , , , , , and .

Curated by , of the Grawlix comedy troupe, and , the High Plains lineup will also feature nationally-known Denver stand-ups Troy Baxley and Chuck Roy — two major influences on the local stand-up scene — in addition to the Grawlix, the Fine Gentleman’s Club and others to be announced.

Pricing info has yet to be released, but tickets for the event are on sale at on Saturday. Check back here for updates and more details.
