A semi truck crashed on C-470 Friday morning, causing traffic problems in the area.
The single-vehicle crash happened about 10:40 a.m. between Broadway and Lucent Boulevard, said Trooper Josh Lewis, a Colorado State Patrol spokesman.
The truck was heading eastbound, ran through a cable rail and median, and wound up in the westbound lanes, Lewis said.
There were no reports of injuries.
A gas saddle tank on the truck ruptured and a hazardous materials unit was called to the scene to assess the situation and prevent diesel fuel from spilling into a nearby creek.
One lane of the highway was closed, it reopened about 12:15 p.m., according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
