EVANSTON, Ill.—A Colorado attorney and his wife are donating $10 million to Northwestern University’s law school.
Administrators say in a statement Tuesday that the unrestricted donation will be used to “improve legal education and enhance the student experience.”
The money comes from longtime donors J. Landis Martin and his wife, Sharon.
Martin founded a private equity firm in Denver and has been CEO of several companies.
The couple committed $15 million to the school in January to support athletics and recreation.
Two of their three children also earned degrees from the Evanston school.
Martin is a Northwestern trustee and earned his undergraduate degree from the school in 1968 and his law degree in 1973.
