Watch out world. is awake from a drunken slumber/hibernation with an appetite for rock. Having returned with a new single and a forthcoming album, the band made its way to “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” to perform the questionably titled “Supersoaker.”
Lead vocalist, , appeared very alert and had a firm command of the southern rock group’s new track. “Supersoaker” is a return to “Youth & Young Manhood”-type tunes rather than the sterile arena rock of “Come Around Sundown.” The new Kings of Leon album, “Mechanical Bull,” is slated for release Sept. 24 via RCA records.
