GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—A second man has been arrested following shootings that killed one person and injured his girlfriend outside Glenwood Springs last week.

The Daily Sentinel reports () that Josue (ho-SWAY’) Joya has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder. His bond was set at $250,000 Monday.

Prosecutors allege he drove Fredy Argueta Cabrera to apartments where Cabrera is accused of shooting Basalt High School senior Leydy Trejo and fatally wounding her boyfriend, Douglas Menjivar, late Wednesday.

Cabrera owns the El Horizonte restaurants in Glenwood Springs and Carbondale. He is being held on suspicion of first-degree murder.

Arrest warrants indicate that Trejo told authorities Cabrera didn’t like her boyfriend and didn’t like them dating.
