VAIL, Colo.—Authorities say a 6-year-old boy was seriously injured when he was run over by a Vail town bus.
The boy, whose name has not been released, was struck just before 7 p.m. Saturday in Vail Village. Police say the 66-year-old man driving the bus did not know he hit the boy until witnesses alerted him.
The Vail Daily reports ( ) the boy is recovering at a Denver hospital, and police have asked the Colorado State Patrol to help investigate the accident.
