MoonWalk culture tour
The Ridgway MoonWalk art outing takes place Wednesday starting at 5 p.m. at Chipeta Solar Springs Resort, with a talk on the area’s Ute heritage followed by a ride down the Uncompahgre River valley, with visits to cultural sites along the way. The night concludes back at Chipeta Resort with live music until 10 p.m.
Florence music, art fest
The Americana Music and Art Festival takes place Friday-Aug. 25 in downtown Florence. For three days, musicians, arts and crafts vendors, food and beer take over Pioneer Park. Ticket prices vary.
New Meekerpalooza
Meeker holds its first annual Meekerpalooza arts and music festival Friday-Aug. 25 in downtown Meeker. The festival includes dance, singing, live music, workshops, culinary demonstrations, kids activities, an arts and crafts fair and the Taste of Meeker.
