Ancient and sacred relics of the historical Buddha Shakyamuni and other Buddhist masters from India, Tibet, Korea and China, including some from the Dalai Lama’s own collection, are being shown at a free public exhibit at the Zen Center of Denver, 3101 W. 31st Avenue.

The exhibit opens 7-8 p.m. Friday
. Public viewing continues 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama has offered eight , rescued from Tibet in 1959 after the invasion of China, that are more than 2,500 years old.

The tour, created in 2001 by Buddhist master Lama Zopa Rinpoche, has visited more than 67 countries.
