Three people were rushed to the hospital after a head-on crash Sunday in Aurora.
No names have been released.
The collision happened at about 3:30 p.m. when a Jeep Cherokee crossed a center line on East Iliff Avenue west of South Peoria Street and hit a Honda CR-V, Aurora police said.
The man driving the Jeep was not wearing a seatbelt, and his vehicle was not equipped with air bags, police said. He sustained life-threatening injuries.
He was the only person in his vehicle.
A man and woman in the CR-V were injured seriously, but they are expected to survive, police said.
Westbound East Iliff Avenue was closed for about four hours for the investigation.
