PUEBLO, Colo.—Fort Collins police have arrested a 36-year-old man suspected in a strangling death at a Pueblo hotel.

The Pueblo Chieftain reports ( ) David Vernon Dennis was arrested at about 3 a.m. Thursday on suspicion of homicide. He was wanted in the death of 63-year-old Ralph Johnson, whose body was found in a room at the Clarion Hotel on the city’s North Side on Aug. 22.

The Fort Collins Coloradoan reports Dennis has been transported to the Pueblo area.
