People who live in Colorado flood zones will get a break on bills for driving on the E-470 tollroad and Interstate 25 toll lane.

The E-470 Public Highway Authority and the I-25 toll lane manager High Performance Transportation Enterprise said Friday they will temporarily waive late fees and collection fees for license plate toll customers impacted by Colorado’s massive flood.

Waivers will be available only to those E-470 and I-25 Express Lanes customers who reside in the cities and towns that faced disruption in their postal service or whose mailing addresses and ZIP codes are clearly within the flooded areas.

“We don’t want to add to the worries of our customers who are facing difficult challenges from the flood,” E-470 Executive Director John McCuskey said.
