MACK, Colo.—A single-engine plane made an emergency landing near Mack after its crew noticed mechanical problems while flying to Ogden, Utah.
The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office says three men were traveling from Alamosa, Colo., to Ogden. While attempting to land, the plane bounced off a runway, went over a hill and ended up on a road.
The unidentified pilot and his two passengers suffered minor injuries. Authorities say the men went to Grand Junction Regional Airport where they rented a car and continued their trip.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating.
