WOODLAND PARK — Multiple agencies have responded to a fire Tuesday at Woodland Park High School, and it was reported the fire was out at about 2 p.m.

The school was evacuated and students were told they could go home for the day, but no smoke is showing from the building.

The Woodland Park Police Departmen issued the following release at about 1:50 p.m.:

“At about 1:15 today a fire began at the Woodland Park High School from a grinding machine in the metal shop or in a maintenance building. The fire spread through the ceiling. The school has been evacuated. There are no known injuries.”
