ARLINGTON, Texas — The wait for Champ Bailey continues.

The Broncos cornerback will miss his fifth consecutive game of 2013 in Dallas on Sunday after suffering a left foot sprain during the preseason.

Bailey had been listed as questionable on the team’s Friday injury report, and his inactive status comes as no surprise. He’s likely being kept out — it’s unfriendly on injuries. Bailey could return next week in Denver, on grass, against Jacksonville.

Guard Chris Kuper will be active against the Cowboys. He has yet to play in 2013 because of an ankle injury.

Other Broncos inactives are quarterback Zac Dysert, running back C.J. Anderson, cornerback Quentin Jammer, guard John Moffitt, tackle Winston Justice and linebacker Paris Lenon. Rookie defensive tackle Sylvester Williams, who was a healthy inactive against Philadelphia, will be active again in Dallas.
