Saturday. Veteran’s Day may not be until Nov. 11, but the Highlands Ranch Concert Band is getting a jump on the holiday with its annual concert of patriotic music. The “Lest They be Forgotten” program presents standards like “The Star-Spangled Banner,” the Armed Forces Salute, “Battle Hymn of the Republic” and other appropriate pieces, with help from the Knights of Columbus Colorado State Men’s Choir, conducted by Thomas Shinners, and the Northridge Elementary School choir, under the direction of Dawn McGonagle. Sponsors and donations power the nonprofit event and organization, so contributions are always welcome. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 9 at South Suburban Christian Church, 7275 S Broadway in Littleton. Free, all-ages admission. 303-683-4102 or .
