The Colorado Symphony Orchestra has been offering some thoughtful, musical accompaniment for the Denver Art Museum’s flashy “Passport to Paris” exhibits, and the best of it starts this week. On Nov. 15, resident conductor Scott O’Neil presents “Impressionism,” a program connecting the dots between composers, such as Debussy and Ravel, and painters of their time. The next weekend, Nov. 22-24, music director Andrew Litton leads an all-Ravel program, where he will both conduct and play, sitting at the piano for the Concerto in G major. The action then jumps to Jan. 17-19, when Jeffrey Kahane leads a French program, featuring pianist Jan Lisiecki. All at Boettcher Concert Hall, Denver Performing Arts Complex. 303-623-7876 or Ray Mark Rinaldi
