
Wardrobe malfunction? A man was cited for public indecency Nov. 7 after witnesses said he was pants-less and exposing his genitals on the east side of the U.S. 6-Wadsworth Boulevard underpass. When contacted by police, the man said he was just changing his underwear.
Back to the scene of the crime. Lakewood police were called to Target, 14500 W. Colfax Ave., after a repeat shoplifter returned to the store Nov. 12. According to employees, the woman had shoplifted three times in two months, taking an estimated $369 in merchandise. She was arrested on a warrant.
Spiced peanuts. Police responded to ICCS, 1651 Kendall St., on Nov. 8 after staff found synthetic marijuana during a room search. The bag of “spice” was hidden inside a can of peanuts. The resident told police he was smoking “spice” because of stress. He was issued a summons.
Bad timing. Police received a request for assistance from a parole officer Nov. 7 on the 700 block of Kipling Street. The parole officer was conducting a home inspection when he noticed two lines of a white powder on the back of a toilet. The parolee admitted it was Percocet that he planned to inhale. He had no prescription and was charged with illegal possession of a controlled substance.
Dragonfly busted. Lakewood police participated in a multi-agency undercover prostitution investigation Nov. 6 at Dragonfly Massage, 9050 W. Sixth Ave. A woman was arrested after police say she offered to masturbate an undercover officer. The owner denied knowing that prostitution services were being offered at his business.
