ASPEN, Colo.—A large avalanche triggered by skiers outside Marble is prompting the Colorado Avalanche Information Center to urge backcountry travelers to use caution.

The Avalanche Information Center says there was a rash of human-triggered slides statewide on Sunday after 12 to 18 inches of snow fell. No injuries have been reported.

The Aspen Times reports ( ) the potential for large, dangerous avalanches will remain for several days to come, with more snow expected across the state on Wednesday.
