
Bomb threat. On Nov. 12, Englewood police officcers responded to the 200 block of West Belleview Avenue, where a man had called a business and said bombs were being planted on the roof. The caller hung up before making demands. No suspicious items or people were found at the building.
“PooPooHead.” On Oct. 28, a Littleton police officer responded to an incident that happened on the 5300 block of Delaware Street. A woman said she got several text messages on her new phone, including one that said “PooPooHead.” The call came from a New Jersey number but no one answered when called.
Pizza burglary. On Oct. 26, a Littleton police officer was dispatched to Anthony’s Pizza, 2610 W, Belleview Ave., where someone had thrown a large rock through a window, broke in and took $130 from an unsecured safe, including employee checks. The manager thought it might be tied to another burglary at another store location in Castle Rock by a former employee.
Don’t pee on the pumpkin. On Oct. 24, a Littleton police officer was dispatched to Reinke Bros., 5663 S. Prince St., where a young man was seen urinating on a large, inflatable pumpkin. When the officer contacted the suspects, one admitted he had done it and was given a citation.
Illegal dumping caught on video. A man called Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies on Nov. 5 after he observed some illegal dumping in a parking lot on Coal Mine Avenue. The man showed police a video from his phone of a suspect in a van placing two box springs and a mattress in a Dumpster at a church parking lot.
