Today-Sunday. You don’t have to be a musician to get something out of the Denver Music Summit. The event is geared toward artists and industry with its workshops, panels and speeches, but there’s also the open-to-the-public reception at the Mercury Café (2199 California St.) on Nov. 22, featuring music from Josiah Johnson (the Head & the Heart), Ark Life, Ian Cooke and more. And the Narrators storytelling series, which includes stories and songs from Jeff Linsenmaier (the Czars, the Fray), Erin Roberts (Porlolo), David Bazan (Pedro the Lion), Erika Wennerstrom (Heartless Bastards) and others at the McNichols Building (144 W. Colfax Ave.) on Nov. 23. All public shows are $10 and conference registration is open at .
