RYE, Colo.—Pueblo County authorities are searching for a handyman who lived at a home in Rye that burned Wednesday. Three people were dead inside the home.
Pueblo County Sheriff Kirk Taylor says deputies are looking for a handyman who had been living at the home until last week. The Pueblo Chieftain reports that the three fire victims haven’t been named by authorities ( ).
Arson investigators with the sheriff’s department and Colorado Bureau of Investigations planned to search the home Thursday to determine the cause and origin of the fire and to remove the bodies.
Three children reportedly living in the home were staying with relatives in Pueblo.
Two dogs survived the fire and were taken by animal control.
