
Police have released a sketch of a suspect in the fatal assault of a man at a LoDo bar.
On April 27 the victim, Daniel Lovato, 39, was at the Summit Music Hall, 1902 Blake Street, at a ,” police said in a Crime Stoppers release.
Lovato “suffered serious bodily injury” and was taken to Denver Health Medical Center.
On May 1, Lovato died as a result of his injuries.
Police released Thursday a sketch of the suspect based on a witness description.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man, about 30, 5-feet 9-inches tall with a stocky build, short hair and tattoos on both arms. He was wearing a black shirt with red cursive writing and a black hat with a brown bill when the incident happened.
Anyone with information on the incident, or on a possible suspect, is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867) or send a text to: CRIMES (274637) then title DMCS and enter a message. Tips can also be submitted by e-mail to metrodenvercrimestoppers.com.
Tipsters can remain anonymous and earn up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
