COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—An El Paso County woman is in jail after authorities say she killed her mother.
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office says 57-year old Rae Lena Stanley is facing first-degree murder charges after the body of a woman was found in a house. Authorities identified the woman as the suspect’s mother.
According to KKTV-TV ( ), authorities stopped Stanley for questioning on Saturday while she was walking down a road acting strange.
The name of the victim has not been released.
