Oh, you thought was growing up into a respectable young woman? That’s cute. In her self-directed new video/soft-core porn short for “Dirty Love,” Ke$sha stays true to her glitter-covered roots by gyrating through dance moves in front of various dimly lit backgrounds. The video is undercut with old footage from 1965 of a man claiming “it’s too obscene to show.” How fitting.
While the video marks Ke$ha’s directorial debut of sparkle-induced sexuality, it lacks the rock legend Iggy Pop, who is featured on the track. But who needs a rock legacy when you have a 26-year-old pop star being doused in beer?
The responsible young role-model is finishing up the second season of her MTV show “My Crazy Beautiful Life” and “Dirty Love” is the latest single off her 2012 album “Warrior.” Other singles include the alarmingly similar “Die Young,” “C’mon” and “Crazy Kids.”
