COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—A U.S. Air Force captain killed in a helicopter crash in England earlier this month is being buried at the Air Force Academy.
A funeral for Capt. Christopher S. Stover is being held at the academy’s Catholic chapel Monday, followed by a graveside service at the academy cemetery.
Stover was one of four Air Force crew members killed when their Pave Hawk helicopter—a modified Black Hawk—came down in a marshland nature reserve on the Norfolk coast on Jan. 7. They were on a training mission.
Stover is a 2008 graduate of the academy.
