Getting your player ready...

The Broncos have getting beaten in a Super Bowl down to a science. This year marked the third worst loss in Super Bowl history. And to drop your mood even lower, the Super Bowl commercials didn’t offer much of a laugh. Instead, the commercials this year focused on the warm and fuzzy feeling, Bob Dylan selling cars, OneRepublic entertaining random guys and more.

“The Spill”

Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) from “Full House” fame teamed up with old counterparts, Danny Tanner (Bob Saget) and Ranger Joey Gladstone (Dave Coulier) to rekindle the old San Francisco flame from the ’90s. And yes, Danny Tanner is still an OCD cleaning machine.

“What can Tim Tebow do with #nocontract?”

Tim Tebow might have been the only successful (ex) Denver Bronco on Super Bowl Sunday with the new T-Mobile promotion poking fun at his own expense. Tebow is now an ESPN commentator, delivered a baby, became an astronaut and saved puppies without being tied to a contract.

“We Will Build Your Car”

Bob Dylan is not known to throw his support behind many consumer products or goods, however, it turns out that in that old heart of his, there’s a car salesman for Chrysler. It can’t hurt Detroit any worse than it already is, right?

“Ian Up for Whatever”

Bud Light decided to go the kitschy route including two famous Colorado exports with OneRepublic and Don Cheadle with a llama. The all American brew decided to pick up some poor schlub from a bar to have him party with Reggie Watts, styled by Minka Kelly and play ping pong with Arnold Schwarzenegger to be entertained by OneRepublic.

“Puppy Love”

Most commercials are compared to the granddaddy of them all, Budweiser, and yes the Clydesdale horses got in on the act with a rambunctious puppy to the heart tugging Passenger track, “Let Her Go.”
