Blowing snow and freezing temperatures are fouling travel along the Interstate 70 mountain corridor eastbound from Frisco to C-470.
Delays of 45 minutes to one hour are expected this afternoon and into the evening, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
A winter storm warning is in effect through 6 a.m. Monday for the mountains and high valleys of North Central Colorado, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.
Snow could accumulate at rates of 1 inch per hour, before tapering off after midnight, the weather service said. Wind gusts could blow as hard as 60 miles per-hour.
The storm is expected to drop between 6 and 14 inches.
Snow accumulations since Friday through tonight are expected to reach between 14 and 30 inches across the Front Range mountains and Summit County.
