ALAMOSA, Colo.—A new airport terminal is coming soon to the San Luis Valley Regional Airport this summer with hopes of attracting a new airline.
Alamosa County Assistant Administrator Carol Osborn says the new terminal is a must for the airport because the existing building is falling apart and is fails to meet Transportation Security Administration regulations.
The Alamosa Valley Courier ( ) reports the terminal project is valued at $3.5 million and is being funded through the Federal Aviation Administration, the state, the county and possibly $1 million in Department of Local Affairs grants.
