It’ll be a celebration of perseverance when returns to in Lyons on July 25-27. The home of the annual bluegrass festival was submerged in the devastating , but organizers vowed to rebuild. Now, RockyGrass has announced the full lineup, with , Uncle Earl and James King, who will help celebrate the rebuilding of the ranch.

Organizers shared the initial lineup with Reverb in late-November, which includes, Ricky Skaggs & Bruce Hornsby, Sam Bush Bluegrass Band, Hot Rize, Bela Fleck & Abigail Washburn, Jerry Douglas and more.

During the floods, several feet of rushing water flowed through the 20-acre RockyGrass grounds.

“There’s a lot of destruction,” said Brian Eyster, a Planet Bluegrass employee and Lyons resident “The worst thing that happened on the Ranch that we know about is one of the offices floated down the river. Itap totally gone.”

But he told Reverb that Planet Bluegrass was “100 percent committed” to bringing RockyGrass 2014 to the ranch on July 25-27.

“Just on the emotional power alone, it’ll be the best RockyGrass ever. It has to be,” he said.

Tickets to the three-day festival sold out in early January, which organizers say was six weeks earlier than ever before.
